The Space Affairs Act stipulates that “Space Affairs” means space activities and activities related to space. Whether it’s done in space, air, at the earth’s surface or below the earth’s surface
This does not include activities related to space that are specifically stipulated by any other legislation.
1. Drafting space affairs policies and plans; promoting, supporting, regulating, and developing space affairs and other areas related to space affairs in accordance with the laws and space affairs policies and plans;
2. Promote and support research in space science space exploration and space industry infrastructure, as well as personnel development in space science
3. Promote and support investment in the aerospace industry.
4. Study, research, develop and perform other operations related to space affairs in accordance with space affairs policies and plans.
5. Coordinate operations in space affairs both within the country and between countries.
Operations in Space Operations in Thailand
Space operations outside Thailand or in space by natural persons with Thai nationality. or a juristic person having Thai nationality or registered in Thailand
Operation of space operations outside Thailand using the area in Thailand have sovereign rights or by using ships, aircraft, vehicles or space objects registered in Thailand
